Applied to convenience stores for foreign skills training system which is "Japanese camouflage system"
The Japanese franchise chain association to which convenience stores are affiliated found out that they planned to apply to the government within the year so as to add store management of convenience stores to the target occupation of "foreign technical internship program" on 18th. The government judges at the expert opinion council, and it seems that it will acknowledge if there is no problem in the content of practical training indicated by the association.
In the convenience store industry where the shortage of workers is chronic, aggressively adopted foreign part-time workers, mainly foreign students, and reached a total of about 44,000, which is a little less than 6% of all sales clerks at the three major companies. It will surely increase even if it becomes a target occupation of technical intern training.
The technical internship program is to acquire skills by companies, farmers, etc. to nurture personnel who are responsible for economic growth in developing countries.
